1. The Scriptures frequently tell us to seek the Face of God. ‘Seek ye the Lord, and his power: seek ye His Face evermore.'(1 Chron. 16:11) ‘Seek ye the Lord, and be strengthened: seek His Face evermore.'(Ps. 105:4)

2. The Scriptures explain what it means to respect Sunday and all Holy Days of obligation: “If you turn back your foot from the sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day, and call the sabbath a delight and the holy day of the Lord honorable; if you honor it, not going your own ways, or seeking your own pleasure, or talking idly, then you shall take delight in the Lord, and Iwill make you ride upon the heights of the earth; I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken” (Is. 58:13-14).

3. The Scriptures speak of the holiness of God’s name: “For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy,” (Is. 57: 15).
