Why the Holy Face?

1) The devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus is for the end of times, “destined to save society,” said Blessed Pope Pius IX.

2) It is the antidote to “modern revolutionary men,” that is, to the system commonly known as socialism (includes communism), to atheism and all enemies of God and His Church.

3) It makes reparation to God for the profanation of Sundays and all Holy Days of obligation, blasphemy and idolatry.

4) This devotion helps to restore the correct understanding among Catholics of the maxim “ora et labora,” in a world that tends to emphasize labora (work) to the exclusion of ora (prayer).

5) The Carmelite saint, St. Therese of the Child Jesus, is a registered member of the Archconfraternity along with her father St. Louis Martin, and 3 of her siblings.

6) Fr. Lawerence Carney’s goal for 1 MILLION to become enrolled in the archconfraternity means that the prayers become exponential, following the logic of Leviticus 26:8: “Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase ten thousand; and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.”

7) The Pure and Sorrowful Virgin of Umbe in Spain, left behind a miraculous spring of water (where hundreds of physical and spiritual healings have taken place) told Felisa Sistiaga: “Pray for priests, for many of them spit on the Face of my divine Son,” (May 2, 1989). She urges us to pray the Rosary in a unique fashion with the addition of “the Lord will reign” in the middle of the Hail Mary, and in the litany, conveying the social kingship of Christ in the Parousia, with which the devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus is intimately associated.
