There are other levels of commitment in living out the Holy Face devotion beyond becoming a member of the archconfraternity. There are principally two methods or manners and are outlined by the Armada of the Holy Face and the League of St. Martin. One is free to choose either of them as the way in which one wishes to practice and spread devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus. Please note that whereas members of the Armada agree not to discuss matters of liturgy (e.g. Novus Ordo versus the tradtional Latin Mass), the members of the League of St. Martin are attached to the traditional Latin Mass, which, in their view is a more authentic expression of devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus.
